Synthetic felt is produced from polypropylene and additionally treated for enhanced moist- and soil-resistance.

Felt provides excellent thermal and acoustic insulation. It is soft to cut and its fibers do not ravel at seams. It allows wet cleaning.

As a disadvantage only a marginal cost increase can be stated.
